Bespoke fastener kitting service

High Wycombe based fastener manufacturer and supplier Staytite is reminding OEMs about the advantages of its kitting service

The company has confirmed that it is still supplying complete and comprehensive custom kits to production lines large and small, and that each kit – or series of kits for various stages in production – can include almost every type of fastener, clip or ‘C’ part that can be specified.

Commenting on the growth of its kitting service as the pandemic has led to staff shortages on some manufacturing facilities across industry, Staytite’s Tim Millson says “The disruption which most of us have experienced as a result of COVID 19 has hit some production lines hard. The advantages offered by having our ready-to-use kits to hand are many, but one of them is that they can help maintain production rates even when staff are unexpectedly absent. It simplifies building and saves time and cost too”.
