BigHead quality manager shortlisted for OnHand Sustainability Star of the Year

The award places Vinny among a select group of 50 OnHand users who are setting the standard for environmental action. This is a well-earned acknowledgement of the everyday choices he's made to support sustainability, and a testament to the values we hold at bigHead.

Small changes, big impact

When Vinny's journey with OnHand began, he wasn't sure how much he could contribute. "Time isn't something I can easily pledge due to family commitments. But once I saw the lifestyle pledges available, I realised small changes were achievable, and they really do make a difference."

From switching to a sustainable web browser to washing clothes at lower temperatures, Vinny has built a routine around simple actions that help our planet and community. "These changes gave me a sense of betterment - that I'm making a difference - and I feel really good about that."

Today, those small actions are a part of Vinny's everyday life. His commitment has not only earned him a spot on the national shortlist but also inspired others across bigHead's business.

Vinny's recognition is part of a wider story at bigHead. Over the past year, the team has carried out 4,116 good deeds through OnHand, planted 283 trees in the bigHead forest, and contributed to a 11mt reduction in CO2 - roughly equivalent to the annual emissions of two UK homes.
