Bollhoff announces new RIVKLE Seal Ring fasteners
The companys new range of RIVKLE Seal Ring nuts and studs is designed to protect assemblies in challenging environments and ensure leakproof joining against fluids
Bollhoff has introduced RIVKLE® Seal Ring technology: it is an assembly solution featuring a captive sealing ring for simple and reliable setting, even in high speed production environments using automated blowfeed setting. The resulting assembly is said to be reliable, durable and sealed against the ingress of all liquids, thus meeting the requirements of ISO 20653 and automotive quality demands.
The company states that the new fastener offers resistance against ageing as well as fluids, with a seal that is protected from external contact. Further, claims Bollhoff, there is no risk of tension loss in the assembly process and the fastener, whether used as a nut or stud, is designed for automated setting applications. The fasteners are finished with a surface treatment that has been tested to 720 hours of resistance to red rust, and the company confirms that it offers 100% sorting to ensure the required ppm levels for users.
