The Engineering Network (TEN) was established in 2020, when founders Luke Webster and Mark Newby acquired the respected online platform MachineBuilding.net. Webster and Newby are experienced specialists in magazine publishing and event organisation in the engineering sector. Since the formation of TEN, sales of the Company have grown exponentially. In 2021 TEN acquired the well-known and popular engineering design magazine Industrial Technology, edited by one of the industry’s best known and most widely respected journalists, Mark Simms. Mark also edits MachineBuilding.net as well as TEN’s other successful specialist platform, launched in 2021, FasteningandBonding.net. In October 2022, TEN launched MachineBuilding.Live, a one-day event focused on the needs of machine builders, systems integrators and OEMs. The business has ambitious plans to grow and expand in the core markets it serves.
