Inch-size threads are also available in a wide range for North American OEMs and end users, as well as manufacturers that supply into the region. Male and female thread sizes are also available.

WDS’ 316 stainless steel hand knobs are designed for use in food & beverage applications, pharmaceutical production and are also well suited to challenging environments such as the marine sector. With 316 stainless steel including molybdenum, it makes the material particularly resilient to corrosion in chloride environments, and WDS says that its hand knobs can be used under regular washdown with caustic cleaning agents as well as saline environments.

WDS stainless steel hand knobs are commonly used in industrial applications, but as a result of the appealing designs and highly polished finish, the company states that their use is also growing in commercial and residential settings too. In addition to machinery, the hand knobs are said to be well suited to indoor applications including  kitchen drawers & handles, bathrooms, boats, doors and cupboards.The knobs feature a crevice-free design that prevents build up of bacteria and improves the ease and effectiveness of wash down.
