Growing the JET PRESS Team
As JET PRESS continues to build its capabilities for the future, it is strengthening its team across key areas of the business, and is delighted to welcome Michelle Gordon as Management Accountant and Alicia Higgins as Internal Sales Team Leader for the UK.
Both Michelle and Alicia bring valuable experience to JET PRESS, supporting the company's continued growth and helping it to deliver the high standards of service our customers expect.
Michelle joins with 20 years' experience having worked in accounting within different industries, but this is her first role in manufacturing. Her last job was a Management Accountant for Fire & Security at G4S, where she was part of a shared service centre before the function relocated overseas.
Michelle decided it was an opportunity for a change and she found exactly what she was looking for at JET PRESS. "I was attracted to JET PRESS because of the culture and the feeling of being part of a big family," she says. "I really wanted to leave the corporate world behind." She's also looking forward to picking up new skills in areas of the role she hasn't tackled before, adding another string to her professional bow.
Alicia Higgins has joined JET PRESS as Internal Sales Team Leader for the UK, taking responsibility for supporting the team, building strong customer relationships and helping to deliver excellent service across the UK market. She joins from ChargedEV, where she worked as a Senior Domestic Sales Executive, helping to bring renewable energy solutions such as solar installations and EV chargers to homes and businesses across the country.
The role gave Alicia valuable experience in sales, customer service and long-term relationship building. She also developed her leadership skills by managing a team and helping to maintain consistent performance.
I was attracted to JET PRESS because of its strong reputation within the industry, its extensive product range and the opportunity to develop my career in a technical sales environment, Alicia explains. She was also drawn to the opportunity to take on a leadership role while continuing to expand her own knowledge.
Michelle and Alicia join JET PRESS at an exciting time for the business. By strengthening its finance and sales teams, the company is investing in the skills, leadership and customer support needed to build its capabilities for the future.
