Henkel shines a spotlight on skills at Southern Manufacturing

As well as showcasing the latest in adhesive technologies under its LOCTITE brand, Henkel will be shining a spotlight on its skills in helping customers achieve the optimal joining solution at Southern Manufacturing 2023.

Focus will be on Henkel’s wide-ranging automation options to increase productivity, improve reliability and simplify design and also on its consultancy services - with a unique opportunity for stand visitors.

The formula for optimal assembly solutions goes far beyond the latest equipment technology. It requires joined-up thinking that calls upon a deep understanding of how adhesives perform and the applications for which they are used. And, of course, this must be complemented by a comprehensive range of adhesive products able to provide the optimal performance characteristics for the job.

Henkel’s ‘Total Assembly Solution’ service can call upon a full range of manual, semi-automatic, automatic and robotic equipment. From water-thin liquids to high-viscosity pastes, LOCTITE equipment is capable of dispensing and curing a wide variety of adhesives, sealants and costings including acrylics, cyanoacrylates, epoxies, hot-melts, grease, solvents and much more. The choice extends from off-the-shelf units through to bespoke, turnkey systems.

Cost reduction line surveys

Incorporating LOCTITE adhesives, sealants and equipment into the design and assembly processes has proven benefits. Not only can it improve the efficiency of the overall manufacturing process and reduce costs, it can also enhance end-product performance and increase reliability.

LOCTITE offers its customers a detailed survey of their manufacturing process to help identify potential costs savings and process improvements. Following a site visit and a thorough audit of the production and assembly operation, LOCTITE will make costed recommendations on how to improve the process and supply a report detailing all identified cost saving opportunities. This consultancy service has already helped many UK manufacturers to implement process improvements and streamline costs.

Visitors to the Henkel LOCTITE stand at Southern Manufacturing 2023 Henkel will not only be able to discuss their applications with LOCTITE applications’ experts but also have the opportunity to book a line survey for free.

In the event of a terror attack shattering the glass, a high percentage of injuries in an explosion or bomb blast are caused by flying glass fragments rather than any incendiary device itself. Ensuring that can’t happen is a bonding solution from Advanced Adhesives.
