LOCTITE looks forward to developing strong bonds at Engineering Solutions Live

With fastening and joining a key focus at Engineering Solutions Live, Henkel is showcasing the latest advances in high performance engineering adhesives from LOCTITE on Stand 35 on 23 March at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon.

The LOCTITE name has long been recognised for its expertise in bonding, thread locking, thread sealing, gasketing and retaining – but the brand can offer manufacturers and engineers so much more and Engineering Solutions Live is the perfect show to highlight these.

The team will focus on Henkel’s extensive capabilities, advising customers on how adhesives can increase productivity, improve reliability and simplify design across engineering and manufacturing projects.

“The optimal joining solution in any application will depend on a number of factors, and our experts can guide customers into making the best choice,” explains Gavin Jackson, applications engineering manager. “The solution will often bring together both the most suitable adhesive option, but also the assembly automation solution via the LOCTITE equipment options.”

Henkel’s ‘Total Assembly Solution’ service gives customers the choice of a full range of manual, semi-automatic, automatic and robotic equipment. LOCTITE equipment is capable of dispensing and curing a wide variety of adhesives, sealants and coatings, from water-thin liquids to high-viscosity pastes.

By Incorporating LOCTITE adhesives, sealants and equipment into the design and assembly processes, engineers can not only reduce costs and improve the efficiency of their overall manufacturing process, but also enhance end-product performance.

Visitors to the Henkel LOCTITE stand at Engineering Solutions Live will not only be able to discuss their applications with LOCTITE applications’ experts but also have the opportunity to book a line survey for free.

Flexible structural adhesive prevents glass shattering at Heathrow Terminal 5
Glass is one of the most striking features of Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport, but also a potential vulnerability. In the event of a terror attack shattering the glass, a high percentage of injuries in an explosion or bomb blast are caused by flying glass fragments rather than any incendiary device itself. Ensuring that can’t happen is a bonding solution from Advanced Adhesives.
