New ARNOLD website launched
Arnold has launched a new website featuring its wide range of fasteners and fastening systems for cost-conscious OEMs
The newly launched site from Arnold is likely to be of interest for OEMs planning assembly operations, as well as to design engineers seeking the optimum joining solution across a variety of engineering materials. Arnold-Fastening.com highlights the advantages of cost-optimisation from the outset of a project, with the goal of reducing costs for parts, handling and processing technology.
The new site features all the products now available from Arnold and includes the fastening of sheet-metal parts with the company’s PIAS® or RIVTEX® pierce-clinch nuts, as well the fastening of sheet-metal parts using its STRUX® or RIVTEX® self-clinching screws. TAPTITE also features strongly. For OEMs working with highly customised sheet metal parts there is also a section on Arnold’s EPS special fasteners.
Further information available covers the assembly of individual modules, for example sheet-metal bending and punched parts combined with formed parts, multi-material component assemblies and screw / bushing combinations. Other subject featured on the site includes the assembly of plastics using plastic-to-metal fasteners, plastic-to-sheet-metal fasteners and plastics fasteners with functional parts.
Arnolds popular Flowform® Plus also features strongly at the site, the lightweight variant for fastening sheet metals offering a flowhole-forming and thread-forming screw that further enhances the company’s proven Flowform® solution but with a smaller diameter and weighing 25% less despite having the same length. As a result of its polygonal cross-section in the functional tip, users benefit from lower joining forces when forming the holes, or – using the same force – shorter hole-forming times.
