New products get lift-off

Several new lines of 304/A2 and 316/A4 stainless steel lifting eye bolts and nuts are now in stock and available for purchase from SD Products’ website in a range of metric sizes – from M6 to M30. These fasteners are commonly used in lifting equipment.

316/A4 stainless steel carabiner spring snap hooks are described as versatile connectors for light and heavy-duty applications, with spring loaded gate providing a quick and secure attachment. Depending on the size, snap hooks can have a variety of uses – from key rings to straps, ropes and heavy chains.

Other new offerings from the company include a new selection of M4, M5 and M6 A type inserts. “These fasteners provide a strong permanent thread for wood,” adds SD Products. “They are installed by simply knocking the insert into the material.”

Also just launched are cable clamps on a self-adhesive base, manufactured from UL-approved Nylon 66. The ladder type design of the fastening allows for easy adjustment or release of the held cables, if required, states the company.
