Pick and place system takes centre stage

The SMT Solutions Segment of ASM Pacific Technology has agreed a partnership with CantoUSA, a leading theatrical, entertainment and commercial lighting manufacturer. The ASM pick and place system is for CantoUSA’s first in-house SMT assembly line. Previously, CantoUSA outsourced its PCB assembly, but the requirement for more control of both production schedules and new product development compelled the company to invest in a vertically integrated solution instead.
