When ships, boats, motorhomes and caravans are on the move, the goods inside their cupboards and cabinets can get tossed about. Sometimes this forces the doors to open, leading to unwanted breakages and spillages as well as unnecessary mess. With a snap lock, the door holds fast, even when a motorhome brakes sharply or there are strong waves at sea.

Thanks to their flush installation, norelem's snap fasteners require little space, are quick to install and easy to handle a convenient solution for securely closing hoods, flaps or doors. The stainless steel models are corrosion-resistant, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use - and are available with a polished or matt finish. The plastic variants also impress with their high strength and temperature resistance. They are durable and versatile, offering the flexibility to use them in a variety of ways.

All norelem snap fasteners can be closed by pressing depending on the type, they can be opened by pulling, pushing and turning, or pushing and pulling. The range includes a total of six variants, including folding handles, a recessed button and as a snap-in version. Bowden cable connections and triggers are also available, ensuring norelem offers a configuration to suit almost every application.

The snap locks with a folding handle are available from norelem in three versions. The first two are stainless steel, either with or without a Bowden cable connection; while norelem also offers a snap lock with a folding handle in plastic. All are available in two sizes to match the depth of a standard door. The handle is also pre-tensioned to prevent it from rattling, and all variants are also available with an integrated lock for additional security.

The snap-in plastic snap locks with handles are ideal for when the installer has very little space in which to work. Furthermore, they can be quickly and easily installed without the need for any tools. For the end user, operation is also straightforward. By pushing the handle, the lock is brought into the open position, so the door can be opened and automatically secured again when pressed shut thanks to the stainless steel spring. The snap-in snap locks are available in three different sizes for different door depths.

Last but not least, norelem's new range also includes plastic snap locks with a recessed button. Choose from the standard option or a variant where the button can be rotated to provide extra security. With both versions, the user can open them simply by pressing the button so that it extends. Either pull the button or turn it to open, then press it again to make the snap lock click back into place.
