Southco hosts UK event to launch brand new handbook

Southco, leading global designer and manufacturer of access hardware solutions, hosted its second ‘Editor’s Day’ event at its European headquarters in Worcester, UK. The focus of the day was to exhibit Southco’s recently launched paper edition of its renowned Handbook.

The event was designed to provide editors with the opportunity to interact with Southco’s senior and product management teams to learn about the vast range of Southco products and product categories available it’s brand-new Handbook.

Delegates were able to experience Southco’s operational and engineering capabilities when touring the Worcester manufacturing facility and saw how technology is utilised to transform a facility into a ‘smart’ factory, by connecting software with processes to increase efficiency, whilst reducing defects, downtime, and waste. In addition to this, the delegates were able to learn more about Southco products through face-to-face discussions with the senior leadership team.

As a global business, it is important that customers, in any capacity, have a consistent and meaningful experience with the Southco brand regardless of location. The purpose is to create first impressions that last.

“Southco continues to grow and develop, not only through the launching of its new Handbook which features 80+ new pages of products, but also in its social governance, bringing people together to help encourage lasting relationships between itself and the people and communities that support it, whether that be through its everyday customer base, or its loyal publishing partners,” said UK general manager Richard Pearman.
