Industry leaders embrace new machine building event

Almost 80 of the top suppliers to the UK’s machine building and systems integration community have already signed up to appear at MachineBuilding.Live on 4 October this year. The event takes place at the famed National Motorcycle Museum, adjacent to the NEC in Birmingham, and is open from 0830 to 1430.

Accompanying a packed exhibition floor is a full speaker programme with headline sessions already confirmed from Pilz Automation Technology, Igus UK, Ixon, Omron and Lenze. Event and workshop attendance is by pre-registration only and visitors arriving before 11:00 am will also enjoy a breakfast roll and brew free of charge courtesy of the organisers.

Also available free of charge to visitors is access to the outstanding motorcycle museum itself, claimed to be one of the best in the world for those with an interest. Otherwise priced at £15 for an adult, the free ticket provided offers access to hundreds of stunning machines and as many fascinating artefacts from motorcycling days gone by.

Access to the event couldn’t be easier according to the organisers, The Engineering Network. The venue is right outside the main entrance to the NEC and offers abundant free parking right outside the door to the Museum.

MachineBuilding.Live has an unusual format, with all stands being the same sized shell scheme and all in one hall. This means that visitors can capture the maximum information in the minimum of time. It also provides visitors with access to as many experts as required so that various methods, products and processes and solutions can be discovered, discussed, assessed and compared in the minimum of time, too.

Staged exclusively for machine builders and systems integrators and with an eclectic portfolio of leading providers on site, this unique one-day-only opportunity packs more new opportunities into less time than any other event, say the organisers. And with free parking, free entry to the event, a free breakfast and a free pass to the legendary Museum itself the day will be rewarding in more ways than one.
