TEN Ltd expands again

The Engineering Network Ltd (TEN), publisher of MachineBuilding.net and FasteningandBonding.net, has expanded again with the arrival of new staff. The business has also benefited from the award of an exclusive exhibition contract

TEN Ltd expands again

This week, The Engineering Network (TEN) welcomes Jill Miles as the company’s new Customer Support Administrator, as well as Matt Webster as Telesales Executive. The arrival of Jill and Matt follows the recent appointment of former FAST Magazine editor Brian Wall as the new editor of both MachineBuilding.net and FasteningandBonding.net, and the establishment of a Research team to build on the acclaimed monthly Newsletter circulation database. We also extended a warm welcome to Northern Area Sales Manager Steve Brotherton who joined our team recently: he is a man widely experienced in the industrial media sector.

Further news is that from June 1st, TEN has been awarded the sole and exclusive contract to deliver stand sales for the all-new Design Engineering Expo 2022, organised by the Wimbledon based Nineteen Group, well known for a number of industry leading events including the much lauded Maintec exhibition.

Design Engineering Expo 2022 takes place at the NEC on June 8th and 9th next year as part of Manufacturing & Engineering Week and enjoys the active support of Government and a host of the UK’s most respected and active industry associations. The event also has the backing of a large number of the UK’s leading engineering magazine publishers. You can check out the Design Engineering Expo 2022 website here.

These new growth opportunities have arrived following a record inaugural year for TEN. The business celebrates its first birthday on June 3rd and over its initial 12 months saw sales on MachineBuilding improve by 56%, visitor usage of the site triple, and the number of page views on editorial articles quadruple. The launch of FasteningandBonding.net has also been warmly welcomed by both users and leading suppliers alike, and the company has seen more than 9,000 downloads of its unique and recently updated Guide to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

At the time of writing, publication of the first Edition of the MachineBuilding.net Guide to Food & Beverage Industry Machine Design is imminent.

Commenting on TEN’s first year of trading, Managing Director Luke Webster says “We’re delighted to have welcomed a number of key new staff members this year to help us cope with the growth of the business. We see our post-Brexit updating of the Guide to the Machinery Directive, publication of the all-new Guide to Food & Beverage Machine Design and our appointment by Nineteen Group as landmarks, recognising our ability to continue serving the design engineering and wider manufacturing community so well. The increased performance of the MachineBuilding.net website and the instant popularity and performance of FasteningandBonding.net have been widely welcomed".
