What people are saying about MachineBuilding.Live

The first ever MachineBuilding.Live took place at the superb National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on 4 October and proved a roaring success, with packed aisles, busy stands, new friends made, valuable contacts established and real business done. Exhibitors sang the praises of the show, and are already looking forward to next year’s event.

If you were there, you’ll know what we mean about renewed optimism for the UK's machine building and systems integration community. Machine builders, OEMs and system integrators flocked to the event to fill the two halls, with a constant flow throughout the day, all keen to get different viewpoints on specific issues, uncover new ideas for their business, discover new products and services, and evaluate a range of different products.

Exhibitors were thrilled with the response and the levels of enquiries from visitors – many of whom they were meeting for the first time. Matthew Aldridge, managing director of igus UK, said: “It’s exciting. People are coming here with specific problems that they’re trying to solve.” And Mark Tsang, machinery safety consultant at Euchner, added: “It’s really good, really busy – lots of people and lots of enquiries.”

A key feature of the show is it’s one day format, with the doors opening at 8:30. Tina Coppin, managing director at KJN Automation, said: “It kicked off quite early, and we’ve already had some really positive results. It’s been a really good vibe.”

Summing up a unanimous enthusiasm for MachineBuilding.Live, Trevor Pearson, business development manager at Scorpion Vision, said: “It’s a great show, and we’ll definitely be back next year.”

The show is already looking like a sell out for next year, and we hope you’ll join us at the National Motorcycle Museum on 2 October for the 2024 event. For more information visit: www.machinebuilding.live
